Southampton (UK) Embark Queen Victoria.

Day 2 – 7: At Sea
Day 8: Bermuda

Bermuda with its pink sand beaches, pastel-coloured houses and the famous Bermuda shorts. Stroll through gardens filled with tropical blooms, shop in the King’s Wharf or stop for afternoon tea and cricket – a true island tradition. You could even try your hand at landing the famous blue marlin on a deep-sea fishing trip.

Day 11: Port Canaveral (Florida)

Port Canaveral on Florida’s east coast has several claims to fame – the surfing capital of the Atlantic, the largest scallop fishery on the planet, and home to space shuttle and rocket launches . The local waters promise dolphins, manatees, loggerhead turtles, and miles of pristine sand. Go 45 miles West to Orlando to visit Walt Disney World, the Universal theme parks, and Sea World.

Day 12: Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, the city prides itself on being the ‘Venice of America’ with more than 300 miles of navigable waterways. Fort Lauderdale boasts world-class theaters, museums, sightseeing and shopping. The city sits only 24 miles north of Miami, so you can enjoy the sights of South Beach or head further inland to the amazing Everglades and experience the air-boat rides.

Oranjestad is a charming little town with palm-lined streets and pastel painted Dutch architecture. The sandy white beaches provide fantastic snorkelling opportunities with amazing visibility and quaint cafes and restaurants scattered along the promenade. Trails across the landscape include visits to secluded coves, vistas where the sea crashes against the rocks and a natural bridge.

Cartagena  is a city of contrasts between the old and new, poverty and wealth, legend and reality. The 17th century walled Old Town, and fortress are stunning World Heritage Sites, offering an insight into the old legends of this city. The colourful restored Spanish buildings line the streets of Old Town, with areas of immense poverty and around the corner, areas of extreme wealth. This city is one that will surprise and sadden you, intrigue and amaze you.

Cruising the Panama Canal will simply amaze you at the scale of this incredible undertaking. Winding your way through tropical rain-forests and lush green forestry passing an abundance of tropical wildlife; for a truly unforgettable experience.

A local legend says that if you touch your foot to the monument of a Magellan native, you are sure to return to the city. Get a panoramic viewpoint from La Cruz Hill, explore the local markets and museums in the town square, and enjoy the plentiful cafés, restaurants, bars and clubs.

Day 43: Tauranga

Tauranga is one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing cities. The Bay of Plenty coastline has miles of golden beaches to enjoy. Explore the beautiful natural landscape in one of the many parks, and try your hand at mountain biking or white water rafting. If you prefer a more laid-back holiday, spend a relaxing day dolphin-watching.

Day 44: Auckland

Auckland, based around 2 large harbours, is a major city in the north of New Zealand’s North Island. In the centre, the iconic Sky Tower has views of Viaduct Harbour, which is full of superyachts and lined with bars and cafes.

Day 45: Bay of Islands

The Bay of Islands are a collection of holiday islands set in tranquil waters and on a backdrop of beautiful green landscape. The turquoise waters surrounding these islands are teeming with dolphins and other forms of marine life and trips can be made to swim with these wild animals. Walks to Haruru Falls will allow you scenic views of the cascading water.

Day 46 – 50: At Sea

Brisbane is a lively, cosmopolitan city with beautiful riverside parks, a busy cultural calendar and a vibrant café culture. The river is lined with busy malls, riverfront plazas, outdoor man-made beaches, water parks, botanical gardens and wildlife parks. The vibe here is relaxed with nearby Gold Coast and Surfers Paradise being a top location for watersports and some of Australia’s best beaches.

Day 53: Whitsunday Islands

The clear blue waters surrounding these islands are part of a marine park, and fall within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area. Major attractions include access to coral reefs for snorkelling and diving, and the islands also offer lush green landscapes and pristine white beaches, such as the famous Whitehaven Beach.

This small but cosmopolitan city has a thriving art scene with eccentric festivals throughout the year. Explore the busy markets for food, music and culture, or get active with rugby, cricket, basketball and Aussie-rules football. Located on the banks of the Saigon River, Ho Chi Minh City is a vibrant city full of contrasts. Ho Chi Minh City is home to many colourful pagodas, cathedrals and palaces, including one of the city’s oldest, Giac Lam Pagoda, dating from 1744.

The Vietnamese seaside resort of Nha Trang is now well on its way to becoming a sophisticated modern town, but you will still find plenty of old fashioned charm. The region surrounding the city is rich in history with one of their most important sacred sites – the Towers of Po Nagar, which dates from the 7th century – lying close to the city.

Diverse and delicious with an insatiable appetite, Hong Kong – also called the ‘City of Life’ – is bursting with energy. Visit the dynamic Stanley Market where shoppers will find an unparalleled selection of bargains and hidden treasures, Victoria Park for spectacular views of the harbour or one of the 9,000 bars, pubs and restaurants Kowloon has to offer.

Located on the South China Sea, Da Nang is a major port city and your gateway to the natural and ancient wonders of Vietnam. Just inland is Hue; a World Heritage Site and you will long remember its imposing Imperial Citadel and the serene harmony of the Thien Mu Pagoda. You can gaze upon the five peaks of the Marble Mountains; visit the Imperial City of the Nguyen emperors or just stroll along the white sand beaches.

Malacca is located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula. You will find an appealing and assorted blend of cultural, natural,and historic attractions, such as the Buddhist Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, The Malacca Straits Mosque, and the A’Famosa Fort built by the Portuguese In 1511. The Melaka River, once dubbed the ‘Venice of the East’, winds its way from Dutch Square past Malacca town and local settlements. Jonker Street night market is the definitive shopping experience offering traditional wears, artworks, and delicious local cuisine.

Sri Lanka conjures up the exotic and the mysterious, and here you could choose from a diverse range of activities, from exploring the temples of the Sinhalese Kingdom or taking a guided tour of an Elephant orphanage. You could also take look at the Pettah Bazaar where you can buy almost anything and everything!

Visit the morning market and bargain for fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. Coconuts and coconut products are abundant and cheap, and a great snack to enjoy in this tropical paradise. Discover more about the local wildlife at the natural history museum, and visit the stunning colonial town centre.

The capital of Mauritius, Port Louis offers something for everyone. Shopaholics will have their cravings satisfied in every way. Birdwatchers will be fulfilled at Casela Bird Park. Water enthusiasts head straight for the island’s beaches. Many enjoy Grand Bay for sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing. La Cuvette beach or lovely Pereybere cove and south-easterly Blue Bay beach are ideal for bathing, windsurfing and sailing. Le Morne and Tamarin are popular for surfing and swimming. Flic en Flac, its white-sand beaches fringed with filaos and casuarinas, is perfect for sunbathing.

Day 86:  La Possession (Reunion)

Boldly yet delectably French in every way, from the decor to the croissants on the breakfast table. It is as if Reunion lay just off the coast of Cannes, and not thousands of miles away, just off the coast of Madagascar. Reunion’s history began 3 million years ago as a mountain which built up slowly, rising in four successive stages to a towering peak of more than four thousand metres high. Over 500,000 years ago, a new volcanic ridge appeared on the south-eastern side and to this day it still spews out it’s lava, slowly, patiently building Reunion.

Once described as ‘The Friendly City’ – Port Elizabeth is one of the largest cities in South Africa, situated in the Eastern Cape Province. The city itself offers little to interest the visitor other than being the perfect location to take a day tour to the top game reserves in the country including Schotia, Shamwari, Addo Elephant Park, and Lalibela, or relax in the beautiful nature regions of Tsitsikamma forest and Baviaanskloof.

Day 92 – 93: Cape Town

A visit to Cape Town should be at the top of everyone’s must do list. Table Mountain with its revolving cable car and stunning views of the city. The beaches and restaurants of Camps Bay, the amazing waterfront with its shops, restaurants and Hotels. This is also where you can book your trip over to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. Cape Town is really the most amazing and one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Day 95: Walvis Bay

Set surrounding the beautiful natural lagoon, Walvis Bay is teaming with plentiful bird life, flamingos and pelicans, and is home to a quaint harbour filled with shops, restaurants, museums and beautiful churches.

Day 96 – 103: At Sea
Day 104: Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria is the third-largest island in the Canaries. It lives up to its cliché as a continent in miniature, with a dramatic variation of terrain, ranging from the green and leafy north to the mountainous interior and desert south. Gran Canaria can keep the adrenaline pumping, with scope for hiking, horse trekking and water sports. Culture vultures can be similarly satiated by the museums, churches and historic towns.
