Day 2: Kotor

Kotor is located along one of Montenegro’s most beautiful bays. Medieval architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage have made Kotor a UNESCO listed “World Natural and Historical Heritage Site.” Visit the Cathedral of St Tryphon, a monument of Roman culture and one of the most recognisable symbols of the city. Pass by several treasures of Kotor’s rich historical heritage in the form of the Church of St Luka from the 13th century, the Prince’s Palace from the 17th century and Napoleon’s Theatre.

Day 3: Corfu

The lush and verdant island of Corfu has a long and colourful history – it has been ruled by the Romans, the Venetians, the French and the English. Corfu Town boasts fortresses bearing the insignia of the Venetian Republic, an esplanade lavishly planted by the French during the Napoleonic Wars, and an English cricket pitch. Head inland to the village of Sokraki where time has stood still.

Day 4: Argostoli

Argostoli is situated on the beautiful Koutavos surrounded by mountains and verdant forests. The sheltered lagoon holds blues waters, traditional fishing boats and is lined with locals selling fresh fish from the markets. This town was destroyed firstly by the German bombings and then ten years later by an earthquake and has been completely re-built but still holds a lot of its original charm and history.

Day 5: Santorini

Santorini (or Thira) is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. The island is described as the most scenically dramatic of all the Greek Islands – blessed with rugged landscapes, stunning caldera (volcanic crater), and an array of beautiful beaches – including Perissa, Kamari, and the famous Red Beach. Stroll among the white-washed churches and clifftop houses of Fira and Oia and purvey the spectacular vista below.

Day 6: At Sea
Day 7: Dubrovnik

This picture-perfect medieval walled city offers ancient stone buildings, narrow cobbled streets and fortified ramparts rising above red-tiled rooftops. Stradun is the city’s focal point and main artery while Dubrovnik’s streets are blessedly free of vehicular traffic. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the old city remains the pride of the Republic of Croatia and houses the world’s oldest pharmacy.
