Day 1: Fly UK – Barbados
Day 1: Barbados Embark your ship – P&O Britannia
Barbados is full of natural beauty, vibrant culture and hospitable locals making it a dream location to visit. The coastline offers stunning white sandy beaches, translucent water, and endless watersports and activities. A walk into the city will take you to many shops, selling everything from designer clothes to their famous rum. For those wanting to explore Barbados further, take an island safari – a great way to travel across this beautiful island and learn about the history, culture and folklore.
Day 2: At Sea
Day 3: Curacao
Lying some 40 miles off Venezuela, Curaçao boasts a landscape that is dramatic, stark, and volcanic. In contrast, Willemstad, the capital, seems like a cozy Dutch haven with its neat row houses so you can lie back and bask beneath sunny skies cooled by the trade winds or stroll around the bright pastel houses or enjoy the stunning floating market for your shopping fix.
Day 4: Bonaire
Bonaire is surrounded by glistening white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and locals who care and protect their natural surroundings. The community here takes great care in preserving the marine life here which makes for spectacular diving and snorkeling trips. As well as the beauty of the waters you can windsurf, kayak, kite board, fish, hire mountain bikes and even take a waterside horse ride.
Day 5: At Sea
Day 6: St.Vincent
St Vincent is a quiet picturesque island blanketed in green forest and stunning landscape. Visit the small volcano in the center of this island for panoramic views of the countryside, cascading waterfalls and brightly colored coral reefs. Visit the Falls of Baleine, a waterfall so remote it can only be reached by boat. The paths of Montreal Gardens can be walked by tourists or take a drive to the lush banana groves and rain forests of the hilly Mesopotamia region. St Vincent also offers cultural heritage from 19th century forts to ancient petroglyphs created into the cliff rocks.
Day 7: Grenada
Enjoy the best of the west coast, taking in panoramic views, spice plantations and fishing villages, all typical of Grenada. Visit the one-street fishing community and Nutmeg Station to see the grading, drying and packing process and the ‘must see’ cobalt blue lake of Grand Etang. This extinct volcanic crater lake is situated a breath-taking 1,900 feet above sea level.
Day 8: St.Lucia
St Lucia is a stunning island dressed in mountains, lush tropical foliage, beautiful rain forests and sandy white beaches. To appreciate this islands natural beauty you must visit some of the unique attractions. Visit the world’s only drive in volcano, getting up close with multi coloured sulphur pools. Take a trip to the Diamond botanical gardens filled with tropical plants and flowers, trek through the rain forest to discover some of the islands hidden waterfalls and snorkel to the sunken wreck and explore the ocean bed alive with marine life and underwater beauty.
